Akron is divided
into twelve police districts. These districts are
further divided
into four police zones, consisting of three districts
per zone. A police captain is
assigned to each zone and is known as the Zone
Commander. The Zone Commander is responsible for
addressing chronic crime issues within their zone.
If you are aware of
a public safety issue around your neighborhood
that you would like addressed,

locate
the
zone
in which you live, see below, and email your Zone
Commander, directly.

Zone
One:
Zone One is commanded by Lieutenant
Cynthia Christman, and
consists primarily of the Downtown Akron, Elizabeth
Park Valley, Highland Square,
University of Akron, and
Middlebury
areas.

Zone Two: Zone Two is commanded by Captain
Sylvia Trundle, and consists primarily of the
North Hill, Chapel Hill, Goodyear Heights, and
Ellet areas.

Zone Three: Zone Three is commanded by Captain
Martha Sullivan, and consists primarily of the
Firestone Park, South Akron, Kenmore, East Akron, Rolling
Acres, and Summit Lake areas. |

Zone Four: Zone Four is commanded by Captain
Michael Caprez, and consists primarily of the
Fairlawn Heights, Northwest Akron, Wallhaven, Merriman Valley,
West Akron, and Lane/Wooster areas. |
