Akron is divided into twelve police districts. These districts are further divided into four police zones, consisting of three districts per zone. A police captain is assigned to each zone and is known as the Zone Commander. The Zone Commander is responsible for addressing chronic crime issues within their zone.

If you are aware of a public safety issue around your neighborhood that you would like addressed, please locate the zone in which you live, see below, and email your Zone Commander, directly.
