2010 PERF Report
The City of Akron contracted with the Police Executive Research Forum (PERF) to conduct a study of the Akron Police Department. The study was designed to provide a review of the agency including an examination of the department's operations; the organizational structure and authority relationships; allocation and utilization of personnel; a review of the department's current community policing/problem solving approach; and the department's disciplinary process.
